Coronavirus Update

⚠️Important Information⚠️

In line with current government guidelines and the primary academy the pre-school will remain open unless government advice changes or we don’t have enough staff number to maintain children to staff ratios.

The nature of the disease seems to be that symptoms in children are either extremely mild, or non-existent, and that the risk to children is exceptionally low.

That being said the symptoms that we need to be looking out for are a new, and persistent cough, and a high temperature. This does not include “cold” symptoms such as a runny nose.

If you are unsure keep your child at home and get advice from NHS 111 before you decide to self-isolate.

If you do self-isolate this will now be for a period of 14 days and will include all members of the family. If you tell us that you are self-isolating your children will not be permitted on the pre-school site for 14 days, even if they are feeling well.

As is expected Moo Music will not be attending for the session this Friday and the Tennis lesson will also be assessed as the week progresses.

As you know we are due to break up for the Easter break next Friday 27th March (if we make it that far!!) as to whether this break will be extended only time will tell. We will keep parents updated via the open Facebook page and our website.

If you have any concerns, please get in touch with us.

Many thanks

Pre-school team
